Am I locked out?

$
0
0

Table of contents

  1. 1What it does

Little addon which saves me quite some time with all my twinks.

What it does

Rembers which of your chars are saved to which instance.

  • Weekly raid quest (Dalaran quest) [Will updated once there are Cataclysm versions]
  • Every Instance that gives you a SavedInstanceID is trackable!
  • 7x Daily Heroic per week (number represents the amount left on the character)
  • Daily PVP, Tol'Barad Victory
  • 5man heroics (Option to show 5mans in the tooltip is OFF by default)

Updates on login and every time you get the 'You are now saved to this instance'-message, a shift-click on the tooltip forces a manual update. So you don't have to log onto your chars to see if you can join that raid with one of your alts

Currently only a LDB icon:

  • Right click: Brings up the configuration (change tooltip colors, profiles)
  • Left click: Bring up the RaidFrame, Shift-click for manual playerupdate
  • Hovering: Shows a tooltip of all instances. Green = free, Red = locked out (default colors, you can change them)

Config options:

  • Standard Ace3 profile things
  • Change colors of the tooltip
  • Change abbreviations used for instancenames (Ailo tries to get a 'first char of every word'-type, but that is kinda hard if you have a locale which relies heavy on utf-8 chars)

RoleIcons

$
0
0

RoleIcons is a tiny UI mod that adds Blizzard's party/raid role icons (tank/heal/dps) in several useful places in your UI, and provides several other related features.

Role icons are added to:

  • The Blizzard raid tab. The role icons replace the level field for max level players.
  • Game tooltip when you mouse over a player or raid frame
  • HealBot unit frames
  • HealBot and Vuhdo tooltip when you mouse over a raid frame
  • Party/Raid chat (Blizzard chat frames, Prat, Chatter, WIM)
  • Target frame

Other features:

  • Enhances the Blizzard Raid tab with role summary counts and class summary counts
  • Adds a role-check button to the Raid tab
  • Blizzard Raid tab can now be left-clicked to target a raid member
  • Blizzard Raid tab can now be middle-clicked to set a raid member's role
  • Automatically sets your role based on your spec when joining a raid or respeccing
  • Automatically replies to role checks from the raid leader based on your spec
  • Adds a tooltip showing the tier token breakdown for the current raid members

Basic Usage:

  • Install as usual
  • It Just Works! (tm)

Command Line Usage:

  • /ri help - Get info on command-line options
  • /ri check, /rolecheck - perform a Role Check (must be leader or raid assistant)

  • Easily allows saving any professions linked from friends or guildies into your database
  • Provides one-click access to the Trade Skill UI of any toon's profession.
  • Supports easily posting links of your toon's professions to any chat
  • Data is shared between all your toons on the realm, including cross-faction
  • Comes pre-loaded with links to fully-stocked professions

Tooltip/Recipe features

  • Enhances recipe tooltips with info about which characters can learn the pattern
  • Colors recipes in the Auction House display to indicate which characters can learn the pattern
  • Colors recipes in the Merchant (vendor) window display to indicate which characters can learn them.
  • Automated scan allows your bank character to scan the AH for recipes learnable by any alt.
  • Customizable recipe coloring and character name coloring
  • Enhances crafted item tooltips with info about which characters or professions can craft them

Misc features

  • Super-fast performance and tiny memory usage (see below)
  • Includes an LDB broker with easy access to your professions, supports Fubar or Titan Panel, or can be used stand-alone
  • Based on the Ace3 Addon Framework
  • Enables the "link" button on all profession windows (default UI just has it for your own)

Usage

  • Open the PV window using the minimap icon, LDB launcher or by typing "/pv show" on the command line.
  • PV window shows all the saved professions for your character, any alts on the same account running PV, and any profession links you've saved.
  • PV window also includes links to fully-stocked professions (ie containing every recipe)
  • Data update happens automatically whenever you open a trade skill window, or you can update them all at any time using the "Scan my Professions" button. PV will automatically update when you learn a recipe or skill up.
  • Config button can be used to configure tooltip/coloring integration.
  • To save any profession link into PV (eg whispered from a friend or in trade), just open the link and press the new "Save" button that appears at the bottom of the Trade Skill UI. The same technique can be used to merge profession data from a second account (dual-boxing).

Performance

ProfessionsVault is designed from the ground up with optimal performance in mind.

Why should you care about addon performance? In a word, SPEED. Nobody wants to be stuck watching a game loading screen for two minutes every time they switch characters while their addons swap hugely bloated databases back and forth from the hard drive. Nobody wants their entire game to freeze for 60 seconds each time they open a profession to cut a gem or do an enchant while their professions addon laboriously pounds the server cache to scan every last recipe.

Unlike most professions-related addons, ProfessionsVault is the first fully-featured profession management addon that works by saving only the LINKS to the professions, not the contents - consequently, profession "scanning" is instant (ie never delays the opening of profession windows), and the memory footprint is very tiny - under 400k for the whole addon with a fully populated database (ie doesn't increase login/logout times). In tech speak, the space consumption and time utilization of most addons grows at least LINEARLY with the number of trade skill recipes (times the number of professions and the number of characters), whereas ProfessionsVault's space/time consumption is a small CONSTANT for each profession. The difference is relatively minor when you have only one character with apprentice professions, but rapidly becomes very noticeable when you have several characters with grand master professions and hundreds of recipes each.

AdiBags

$
0
0

AdiBags displays the content of your bags in one view, distributed into several sections using smart filters.

It is heavily inspired by Nargiddley’s Baggins.

Configuration is available through Blizzard addon panel, /adibags chat command or right-clicking on the LDB plugin.

Important note about localized filters: some filters rely on translations from LibBabble-Inventory-3.0 so if some of them behave strangely in your locale, please take a look at the library translation status.

Feedback

Please report any bug or error using the wowace bug tracker (your Curse accout works there). The comments section below is not meant to report and track bugs. I won’t reply to bug reports in the comment section anymore.

Some words about submitting bug reports:

  • I do not care about “it doesn’t work, fix it!” messages. I need to know how it failed and a way to reproduce the bug so I can test it and make sure I fix it.
  • Bug reports are not in the “fire and forget” kind of things. I may have to ask you some details.
  • Please check all existing tickets and the “known issues” section below before submitting new ones. Duplicate reports will be rejected on sight.

Features

Most of these features may be configured. Check out the configuration panel ! (using the /adibags chat command or clicking on the bag icon, you have any LDB display)

  • Smart filters are used to distribute items into several sections, including:
    • Item sets of the Blizzard’s gear manager (one section per set),
    • Junk items (whitelist and blacklist available),
    • Quest items,
    • Equipment (items your character can wear),
    • Sections based on item category: trade goods, consumables, recipes, ...
    • Manual filtering (drag and drop items on section header, or add new section from the configuration panel),
    • Ammunition and warlocks’ soul shards,
    • Free space.
  • Smart item sorting inside each section.
  • Smart section layout ; change the setting “Automatic layout update” to control the frequency of updates.
  • Track new items ; use the [N] button resets the “new” flag.
  • Display slot type.
  • Bag tidy ; click on the [T] button.
  • Hide some sections, using the [V] button.
  • Name-based search.
  • Equipped bags (click on the bag icon in the top left corner),
  • Display character money in the backpack.
  • Display character tokens in the backpack.
  • LDB data source, displaying free space.
  • Two bag placement modes (choose one in the configuration panel):
    • Anchored: the bags expand from an anchor towards the center of the screen. The anchor can be unlocked and moved.
    • Manual: move the bags by dragging their title.

Separate modules

I have written two separate modules for AdiBags:

Tips & tricks

  • you can create your own sections using the “manual filter” in filter configuration. You can then drag and drop items on section titles to reassign them ; this works for any section.
  • if you want to highlight new items without putting them into a specific section, edit the “new items” filter priority to put it at the end of the filter list.

Known issues

  • All items are always news / new items are not detected / item sets are not working: AdiBags is (ab)using the game API to emulate some features that is was not meant to do. It relies on some timings that depend on your computer speed, your realm server and/or your network connection (because the game is inherently asynchronous). In some cases, it just does not work and there is almost nothing I can do because I cannot reproduce the bug to diagnose it and to try to fix it. So basically, if the new item or item set filters are not working for you, there is little chance I can fix it.
  • Protected action/addon blocked error: they sometimes happen with AdiBags. Even though my effort, I can not reproduce these. Blizzard taint reports are very buggy, often blaming the wrong addon. As such they are pretty much useless.
  • Please note that prospecting, disenchanting or milling can create new items (e.g. that were not in your inventory yet). This can cause the whole bag to be updated. In this case, the items that were under your mouse cursor may move around. There is no easy solution for this so be cautious.

Things that likely will not be implemented

Anything else than the existing “all-in-one” views

AdiBags has been built around, and optimized for, the idea of the “all-in-one” view. Doing anything would require to redesign big parts of the addons, especially the layout code that is quite complex at the first place.

Anything that requires to scan item tooltips

Tooltip scanning is quite CPU-consuming and above all requires asynchronous programming, since item tooltips would not always be available at the time AdiBags should use them. This would raise the complexity of bag filtering be an order of magnitude and turn AdiBags into a CPU hog.

Some examples what requires to scan the item tooltips:

  • detecting the kind and state of binding: unbound, soulbound, bind-on-pickup, bind-on-equip…
  • detecting already known spells/pets/recipes or faction/race/level/skill/class restrictions ; basically any “red text” in the tooltip.

Guild bank

AdiBags presents you a nice view of your bags but actually they are in a complete mess. With AdiBags, there is no need and no way to tidy up the items in the actual bags. Guilds usually try to keep their bank tidy. What would happen if some people in a guild used AdiBags for the guild bank ? Well, they would mess up the guild bank content and people NOT using AdiBags would have to deal with that mess. I can hear the screams from there. So that is why I will not implement guild bank.

Alt bags and bank

AdiBags is not an alt bags/bank viewer. If you want to keep track of what your alt owns, I suggest using an addon like BagSync.

Full bag skinning

Basic skinning is available using LibSharedMedia-1.0: you can choose the bag font, background and border, as well as the color.

Comprehensive in-game filter/section editor

According to my experience with Baggins, comprehensive editor is awful to write as an author and awful to use as an user. Hence I focus on creating filters that have a smart built-in behavior and only a few options. I try to avoid the 20% of features that would require 80% of development effort.

AdiBags_PT3Filter allows you to create AdiBags item filter using

Features

  • handle several rules, ordered by priority,
  • each rule can list several item sets for including and excluding items. An item matchs a rule if it is in any of the included sets and in none of the excluded ones.

Co-ordinated Party and Raid Wipe Recovery, Evolved

February 25, 2013

New Features

This is the first Beta build of the new version. The new phrases should be included (thank you Curse and WoWAce users for pointing out missing ones). If you do not use the Curse Client (*gasp*), on the Curse page for SmartRes2, click Other Downloads to see the new Beta. There are NEW features:

  • Bars will now show up for people who have been resurrected, but not accepted the cast. These are new bars, unlocked by default. You can lock them via the SmartRes2 Options in the new tab.
  • SmartRes2 made the switch from LibResComm to LibResInfo, which means no longer forcing everybody to use LRC/SR2/CTRA –– data is pulled from the Combat Log instead.
  • A message will be printed for yourself when someone's resurrection cast has expired and they can be raised again.
  • Using the Mass Resurrection Key will not cast Mass Resurrection if someone else's cast will end before yours.
  • The Mass Resurrection Key verifies other players can be Mass Resurrected, and will tell you if there are people that can't (ie: have the RECENTLY_MASS_RESURRECTED debuff).
  • You have the option to use a Mass Resurrection message.
  • Mass Resurrection has its own coloured bar and text
  • Every spell and item that can be used to raise dead players is supported, even instant cast ones. Please be aware that instant cast spells are instant, and as such have bars that fire and end faster than you can see. Further, Engineering devices do not guarantee success with their use.
  • SmartRes2 does not guess at other players's casts or item use anymore. It knows, it knows....
  • Try the new Test Bars. They now have 100% extra cool and funky! /sr test or /smartres test

Bug Fixes in the new Beta include, but are not limited to:

  • The Auto Res Key works again
  • Mass Resurrection Key is hidden if you do not know Mass Resurrection
  • Macro commands work (see below for examples) and they are Smart
  • Custom and Random Messages no longer have obtuse or confusing syntax (mouse over the fields to see new instructions)
  • Users will not lose existing Random Messages –– they have been converted internally to the new syntax. However, if you used the Custom Message, that has been reset out of forced necessity
  • Bars are correctly locked into place regardless of enabling or disabling SmartRes2
  • Fixed chat output, including supporting Instance
  • Hopefully fixed user settings for bar height, width, and scale

Example Smart Macros

These duplicate the functionality of the Auto Res Key and Mass Resurection Key, respectively. Rename Resurrection in the first macro according to your class spell (Ancestral Spirit, Resuscitate, etc).

Bugs and Suggestions

These go here on the project page.

Bugs especially, as they spam the comment section. It would be especially awesome if, when reporting bugs, you had BugGrabber and BugSack, or Swatter (part of Auctioneer).

Features

  • Intelligent resurrections. See the Q & A
  • Random messages to chat
  • Add or remove your own random messages
  • Three coloured bars. Green means one caster, one target. Red means more than one caster on same target. Blue is when someone has been ressed, but has not yet accepted the res, and a caster tries to res again. The colours are changeable
  • Set the maximum amount of displayed bars
  • Notify in chat when someone is casting a collision (red bar)
  • SmartRes2 supports viewing Mass Resurrection casts
  • Non-CTRA spells are detected, including Engineering devices. As far as I know, this is the only res monitor to, well, monitor those devices.
  • No more "unknown" or blank target names when you click on a corpse with the cursor to res
  • Highly configurable res bars. Move, change the texture, recolour, alter scale, height, and width, plus more
  • Disables itself during combat, saving resources (unless you have Rebirth detection on)
  • Shows you who is casting on whom and how long it will take to land
  • Optional support for Rebirth, the Druid in-combat res spell
  • Any character class can use SmartRes2 to see the res bars. However, only ressers have keybindings to cast
  • Backwards compatible with all other resurrection monitors

Questions and Answers

Q: How do I get to the options?

A: The slash commands are /sr or /smartres There is an LDB launcher and you can use the Interface/Addons panel as well.

Q: What do the different coloured bars mean?

A: Green bars are good resses; they aren't duplicates or collisions with other healers' casts. Red bars occur when a healer casts on a target already being ressed by someone else, whose cast will land sooner. Blue bars happen when a healer tries to res a target who has been ressed, and has not accepted the first res. The colours are user changeable.

Q: Why SmartRes2, and not a simple macro for ressing?

A: For several reasons, chiefly but not limited to

  • Because macros cannot tell you the name of released (ghost) characters, and SmartRes2 can
  • Macros cannot tell you how long it will take for the res to land on the target, and keep track ticking down
  • SmartRes2 shows you the other out of combat resses being cast by the rest of your Party or Raid
  • SmartRes2 has an auto res key, which when pressed, resses characters not already being ressed, in range, and visable plus resses in the following, intelligent order
  1. Healing classes (Priests, Monks, Paladins, Shamans, Druids)
  2. Mages and Warlocks because they consume Mana after being resurrected to summon pets, buff, etc
  3. Death Knights and Warriors (hey, need some tanking classes just in case)
  4. Rogues and Hunters

Q: How come the auto res and manual res keys don't do anything for battle resses? They aren't working!

A: There are no keybindings for battle resses, and there never will be. Think of it like this: the main tank dies, but you also have a dead Shadow Priest. If I turned on the keybindings during combat, SmartRes2 would always res the Shadow Priest. It is better to pick your res target during combat. The bars are only there to show you which Druid is casting on which target, that's all.

Q: How do I get more textures, borders, and fonts for the bars?

A:Sharedmedia and SharedMedia-Blizzard and SharedMediaAdditionalFonts and SharedMedia: Renaitre

All links updated and verified as of December 9, 2011.

Q: What? US English?? But I understand other languages. Can I help?

A: YES!! Go here and help contribute. Need Italian please!!

Known Issues

  1. There is a bug in Blizzard's code that sometimes prevents addons from opening straight to their category in the Interface.. Addons pane. Not all users are affected, and there is no fix within the addon itself. However, if you sometimes get SmartRes2 to open properly when typing /sr or /smartres or clicking the LDB launcher, and sometimes it doesn't open properly, you can install this addon which will fix the issue. Do not install this addon unless you are affected by the bug!
  2. Warcraft does not allow you to cast on targets whom are out of Line of Sight. If you cannot resurrect someone, then move until you can. There is no way to detect if a target is in Line of Sight; a target either is, or isn't.
  3. If a target dies and gets resurrected rapidly in a short amount of time, it delays their Accept button for resurrection casts. There is no way to detect what another player's delay timer is, and in some cases you will see a message saying that their timer has expired, they can be raised again, yet their Accept button has only not lit up. This is an edge case, as most players will not die that rapidly unless they are doing it on purpose (fall testing, for example).

Credits

Data Broker Volume Control

$
0
0

The main goal of this addon is to provide a Data Broker icon/text to set the game volume, but you can use it in many other ways.

Usage

  • With a Data Broker display, I use Bazooka
  • With the icon on the minimap
  • With the command line, if you hate icons and bars
  • With Titan Panel, but the menu is shown on right click

Icon

  • Left-Click: Mute sound
  • Right-Click: Display the sliders menu
  • Shift+Right-Click: Display the options menu

Options menu

  • Blizlike mute
  • Show/Hide the minimap icon
  • Queued volume boost
  • No tooltip mode
  • Close the menu

What is blizlike mute? Default mute behavior do not switch off music, with this disabled it will.

When using a DataBroker display, using the mouse wheel on the icon change the master volume value.

Queued volume boost will set master volume to 100%, unmute and enable background sounds when a random dungeon/raid/scenario group is ready, and return all options to previous state when entering the dungeon/raid/scenario.

No tooltip mode will display the sliders menu when hovering the icon, and the options menu will display on right click.

Command line

Commands: "/bv", "/brokervolume" (They do the same thing)

  • /bv: Display commands help.
  • /bv show: Show the minimap icon
  • /bv <master|effects|music|ambience> <0-100>, will set the volume for the given category.

ArcHUD3

$
0
0

ArcHUD displays smooth arcs around your character in the middle of the screen to inform you about the health and power (mana, rage, ...) of you, your pet, and your target. In addition, it shows casts, combo points, holy power, soul shards, and a couple of other things. It discreetly fades when you are out of combat and at full health/power.

This is a continuation of ArcHUD2 which managed to survive various patches... until the Cataclysm. Thanks to Nenie, the original author of ArcHUD2, for supporting me with this new version.

Please report any bugs or feature requests via the ticket system. The login is the same as your Curse login.

These arcs are currently supported:

  • Health and power (mana, rage, focus, energy, runic power) for player, pet, target, and focus target
  • Player's secondary power (Holy Power, Soul Shards, Chi etc.)
  • Casting/channelling progress for player, target, and focus target
  • Fatigue/breath (mirror timer)
  • Combo points (including unconsumed combo points on previous target, e.g. on dead corpses)
  • Custom (de)buff arcs: Ever wanted to keep track of the stacks and/or remaining times of some specific (de)buffs such as Evangelism, Savage Roar, Beacon of Light, Judgements of the Pure, Weakened Soul, etc? Then just create your own custom (de)buff arc for it!

In addition, some additional target information is displayed:

  • Current target (name, class, guild, 3D model)
  • Current (de)buffs on target
  • Target-of-target and target-of-target-of-target

Changes in v2.1/2.2:

  • added Shadow Orb ring
  • added option to change Death Knight rune order
  • bug fix: moving Death Knight rune ring now works properly
  • bug fix: graphical glitch with arc rendering minimized

Changes in v2.0 (MoP):

  • added Monk Chi ring
  • added Moonkin Eclipse ring
  • added Burning Embers and Demonic Fury to Warlock Soul Shards ring
  • added ring for Death Knight runes
  • added options to center/scale Blizzard's spell activation overlays on ArcHUD
  • added option to hide maximum health/power values
  • added option to swap health/power text display
  • added option to all arcs to allow attachment to inner (pet) anchor
  • added dynamic separators to certain rings (configurable)
  • added rendering of arbitrary arcs
  • added inverse fillings of rings
  • added "shine" to rings (currently DK runes only)
  • fixed an issue with changing pet anchors (ticket #51)
  • fixed an issue with unit frames created by ArcHUD and used by other addons (tickets #52/#38)

Small warning: Using this addon apparently bears a high risk of getting addicted to it, as these user comments suggest. I received those after taking over the development of ArcHUD when the Cataclysm happened:

  • "...nothing ever quite matched the smooth, clean simplicity of ArcHUD's graceful rings."
  • "Great job!! I've used this addon for years! None of the other HUDs come close to the functionality and elegance of ArcHUD."
  • "Thanks for the work on it so far, much more lightweight than IceHud!"
  • "Was staring at the various icehud/metahud alternatives with discomfort and sadness right after the patch [4.0]."
  • "Awesome! Thank you so much for that miracle!"
  • "Thank you so much for continuing this fantastic addon."
  • "...nothing could compare to ArcHUD..."
  • "For a whole 4years I had this mod and I missed it so much in the passed few weeks. I tried other HUD mods but they were too in my face >.< . Best HUD mod IMO! Thanks for resurrecting an old friend :D"
  • "Loving the new ArcHUD my favorite HUD by far :)"
  • "I don't think I could play wow without this addon :)"
  • "I've actually grown kind of dependent on it because I'll occasionally run out of Mana/ die without this."
  • "Hey mate, just came to thank You again for taking over this beauty, awesome job!"
  • "THAT addon! So long I have been searching for a replacement when the development stopped, thanks for bringing it back to live!"

So use it at your own risk ;)

MorgDKP2

$

0

MorgDKP2 is a full featured mod that allows the master looter (ML) to control the loot distribution process. Only one member is required to have this mod. MorgDKP2 is also capable of tracking DKP and outputting the DKP string for import into eqDKP using a custom php import script.

Please help localize here.

Troubleshooting

LDB shortcuts:

  • L-click => MorgBid2 query
  • Shift-L-click => Invite list
  • Ctrl-L-click => Raidtracker
  • R-click => Options
  • L-click itemlink => Add manual item for query
  • Shift-L-click Itemlink => Insert link into open chatframe message
  • Ctrl-L-click Itemlink => Add item to ignore list
  • Hover over itemlink => Show item tooltip
  • Shift-hover over itemlink => Show bid history for the item

Bag shortcut - Shift-Alt-L-click any item in your bug to add a manual query (ie a BOE item)

Video Tutorial
BlueWarlord has created a video tutorial for setting up and using the MorgDKP2 system to run a raid. Find it here.

phpRaid Integration
If you use eqdkp+ for setting up raids you can export the raid attendees (choose lua format) and save the file to the MorgDKP2 folder. When you open the invite list (shift-click) the day of a scheduled raid the phpRaid data will pop open in its own frame.

ClassLoot Integration
If you have ClassLoot (r98 or higher) running as well as MorgDKP2 when a new item drops the classes/altclasses allowed to bid for the item will automatically be filled in if the item is in ClassLoot's database. Only if the classes are NOT already set. Thanks Pneumatis for allowing me to hook your DB:)

Importable item database
There is now and item DB included in the ImportItemDB folder of MorgDKP2. It has as many Northrend raid items I have seen so far with classes set. To import it copy the file to the main MorgDKP2 directory and load WoW. Once imported delete the file from the main directory. Note it will not overwrite any items you already have set.

Using MorgDKP2:
Basic use is identical to MorgDKP. Documentation for setting up the web scripts etc still applies. Will post more information when I have time.

Suggested to start:

  1. Install the webscripts to the plugins folder of your eqdkp install and install it through the admin plugin menu
  2. Export your DKP from the website save in MorgDKP2 folder (even if your database currently has no members!)
  3. Enter WoW and make sure there are no errors
  4. Track your raid etc
  5. Click export raid(s) and copy the string
  6. Click Import raids on the admin panel of edkp and paste the string into the window
  7. Win!

Webscript help

Export standings
Used to export member DKP, events, aliases, and database information (needed for proper import) to the in game mod. Access through the eqdkp admin menu (after installing plugin)

  1. Select your game timezone (may not match your actual timezone)
  2. Select if you want to export member ranks
    1. Ignore ranks - do not export ranks and hence do not use rank sorting for item rolls
    2. Use all ranks - export all ranks for all members and use rank sorting for item rolls (only way to activate rank sorting)
    3. Only export [rank] - only export the selected rank from the website. Caution will only export members of that rank so any unranked members or members of different rank will not be in the file.
  3. Enter the directory and in game name for up to 5 eqdkp installs (ie if your website is http://sodalityoftheconstant.com/aqdkp/listmembers.php? then you would enter aqdkp and whatever name you want it called in game.)
    1. For eqdkp+ multiple pool install only enter the main directory name the pool names will be your actual pool names
    2. For installs in base directory (ie http://eqdkptest.sodalityoftheconstant.com) enter - for the directory name
  4. Click export
  5. Right click the link and choose save as .. save in WOW/Interface/Addons/MorgDKP2 directory.
  6. Load into WoW or reloadui if already in game.

Import raids
Used to import raids recorded with the MorgDKP2 in game mod. Click export raids in the LDB tooltip or export raid in the raidtracker for a single raid. Copy the DKP string (Ctrl-C) and paste it into the editbox. When editing names or adding people you do not need to capitalize them.

  1. Click parse DKP string
  2. Check the data and make sure the import looks correct:
    1. If you have any aliases to import they will be shown with ADD beside them. To not import the alias simply erase the editbox.
    2. If you have any DKP changes they will be listed. As above erase the value or the names to not import. Can add/remove names as well.
    3. For each event the name, note, value, attendees, and any items will be shown. Edit them if necessary. To not import a whole event (including items) erase it's name. Erase and item or item value to not import the item.
  3. If you are using zerosum or skall with zerosum check the use zerosum checkbox.
  4. Click enter final data:)

Note: - Ranks will only be used in sorting if you export all ranks and set the weight of each rank in the in game options (database options) Higher values should be higher ranks. Also rank sorting is ONLY used on the lootframe rolling window. It is not used anywhere else such as the MorgBid2 check or raid invite tab. This means that the MorgBid2 results frame may show a different winner.

Loot window help:
Here is how the loot window is designed to work for those having trouble understanding it. When you loot a corpse if any items are above the loot threshold the mod will:

  1. Check each item and if any have not had their classes set (who gets to roll for the item) it will automatically open the item edit page to that item. This takes priority over all other possibilites. ie You edit this item and start the roll for it. The mod checks again and there is still another item with its classes unset so it opens the item edit page for that 2nd item NOT the roll window for the auction you started. If you want to see the roll window simply right click on the 1st item again.
  2. If no items have unset classes the mod next checks if any items are currently in auction. If so it opens: roll summary window if more than 1 item being rolled for or the single item roll window if only 1 item.
  3. If none of above conditions apply no window automatically opens (ie not roll window or item edit window) and you can right click any item to open edit window (or roll window if auction started) or alt-right click any item to start ALL queries which will cause the roll summary window to open.

Note: - If you want to use MorgDKP2 with fubar you need to have Broker2Fubar installed or it will only show a minimap icon.

Whisper commands: - whispered to someone running morgdkp2.
Waitlist
mbid wait[+/-] [main] => main only necessary if you are whispering from an unknown alt

Bidding
mbid itemid/itemlink [need/take/pass/offspec] [bid] => itemid/link must be included - bid only for BidWar

Dkp queries
dkplist [pool/s] [class/all] [class] ... => pools only if you want to see what pools are available. pool to get the dkp for that pool (leave out for default pool). all for all members in the raid (if person running morgdkp2 is in a raid), guild otherwise. You own class is automatically included so a pally whispering dkplist rogue will get paladin and rogue.

Webscript note: - The MorgDKP2 webscript requires:PHP 5.2.3 or greater and MySQL 5.0.7 or greater. If you are having issues with special characters make sure your MYSQL database is in UTF-8.

Supported DKP modules:

  • Fixed DKP
  • Zerosum DKP
  • Percent DKP
  • Relational DKP
  • Random
  • SKall
  • TakeBid
  • BidWar

Syncing:

Options

  • Broadcast - enable to send sync messages out during a raid to registered listeners. Usually one person will probably broadcast to the backup people in the raid but you can have more than one broadcaster.
  • Receive - enable so your mod will act as a listener and receive syncing events from MorgDKP2 installs which are broadcasting.
  • Overwrite raid - enable to overwrite the current raid with the new raid info (in the initial sync) if you have already started a raid. Useful when you zone in to the instance late after raid is already in progress to get the raidlog from the whole run. If you haven't started a raid overwrite is done by default.
  • Manual Syncs - ie Sync options/members/items/all/initial sync. Click one of these buttons to manually sync to the current raid.

Sync Details

  1. Syncing will not be enabled until a raid has started and then the mod will check for sync necessity every 60s.
  2. When the raid starts or someone joins the raid with receive enabled the broadcaster will send out his eqdkp data (boss events/values, aliases, current pool, certain options, current raid data, and current member DKP) Current member DKP will only be updated in the listener client if it has a newer timestamp or if they are members of your current raid. The broadcasters current raid will overwrite the receivers current raid unless Overwrite raid is off.
  3. When you make changes to important values the mod will schedule a sync and send those changes to the listeners throughout the raid.

What is synced?

  • item database changes (value/classes)
  • raid tracker changes to items (value/winner/event)
  • custom events
  • event changes (value/name/note/deletion)
  • alias additions
  • BOE items (ie hand out through your inventory and manually trade)
  • DKP change events
  • item costs different from actual DB cost (ie TakeBid or offspec auctions)
  • items incorrectly assigned to ML/DE in listener client
  • full current raid sync
  • initial waitlist and waitlist changes

NOTE: - There is generally no need for the manual syncs unless you specifically want to transfer the complete itemDB or the listener wants ALL of your MorgDKP2 options. The complete member DKP and necessary options are transferred when the initial sync is sent at the start of the raid (if you have Broadcast enabled and there are listeners present in the raid)

LibSink-2.0

$
0
0

LibSink-2.0 is a small library that you can throw in to easily get configuration options for your addon on where it should output any kind of messages.

By default, LibSink-2.0 supports several addons as output "sinks"; Blizzard floating combat text, MSBT, SCT, Parrot, BCF. And if that's not enough it can also route your output to any ingame channel, like raid warning, party chat, say. Or just to a local chatframe, UIErrorsFrame, etc.

In order to use LibSink-2.0 in your addon, you simply need to embed it into the addon object;

localaddon=LibStub("AceAddon-3.0"):NewAddon("Bunnies!","LibSink-2.0")

Then you get a few new methods on your addon object, most notably :Pour(...):

self:Pour(text,r,g,b,font,size,outline,sticky,location,icon)

The only ones you need to concern yourself with are usually text, r, g and b. These arguments say what text you want to output in and what color. RGB should be passed as decimal values ranging from 0.0 to 1.0.

The next thing you should note is that LibSink-2.0 provides a method on your addon object that you can invoke to produce options for configuring where, exactly, :Pour requests should be poured from your addon;

self:GetSinkAce3OptionsDataTable()self:GetSinkAce2OptionsDataTable()

So obviously you use the one appropriate for your addon (probably Ace3 nowadays). If you already have an option table for your addon (which is very likely), you just insert the return value from this function into its own section in your config;

localoptions={type="group",name="Bunny options!",args={}}options.args.output=self:GetSinkAce3OptionsDataTable()

And, of course, LibSink-2.0 will need somewhere to store the users preferences about your addon, and since libraries can not have SavedVariables, you need to supply it;

self:SetSinkStorage(self.db.profile)

LibSink can potentially store a few different keys in your database, including sink20OutputSink, sink20Sticky and sink20ScrollArea.

Next version of LibFail updated for Mists of Pandaria. It is still a library that detects failures at certain raid tasks.

In LibFail-MoP fail detection is very similar to how it was in LibFail-2.0. API calls are mostly the same as well with few improovements.

You can find a list of supported fails: here

This is an open repository. Feel free to add to it, and make fixes yourself.

IdiotCheck

$

0

Have you ever charged into a boss fight, only to discover you're an idiot and forgot something crucial?
This mod checks your character and gear before boss pulls to make sure nothing is wrong, and yells at you in various humorous ways if you're being an idiot. It goes into considerable depth and checks many things not checked by traditional raid buffing addons.

You might be an idiot if you've ever gone into a boss fight...

  • With a broken weapon
  • Wearing a fishing pole, chef's hat, or teleport item
  • Wearing your pvp gear
  • With a dead pet
  • With an inactive meta gem
  • Without your hit/expertise trinket equipped
  • Without an enchant or gem on that new item
  • Without your profession-related gear buffs
  • Without a belt buckle
  • Missing talent points
  • With glyphs for the wrong spec
  • With a flask for the wrong spec
  • Without your class self-buffs
  • Much, much more...

All checks can be individually enabled/disabled and configured. By default it checks your gear when you first target a boss or receive a ready check. The addon itself is very lightweight and fast, and never runs during combat.

IdiotCheck is meant to complement, but not replace, traditional raid buffing tools like BigBrother and RaidBuffStatus. It focuses on making sure you are doing your job, and not what other players are doing or not doing (if they are being idiots make them download the addon as well).

Starting in version 3.0, IdiotCheck can also scan inspection targets and group members for a limited set of failures. Note that checking via inspection/scanning is less thorough than self-checks, due to limitations in the Blizzard inspection API. This feature is provided as a convenience, but for the most accurate results all players to be checked should install the addon.

Installation and Usage:

  • Install as usual
  • Left-click the icon to run a self-check manually
  • Middle-click the icon to scan your current group members within inspection range
  • Right-click the icon on the minimap or LDB for settings (defaults are good for most purposes)
  • Command-line options are also available via: /ic

Warning about content:
This addon is essentially a drill instructor for your raid play. It works by yelling at you when you screw up, so that other players don't have to. This addon includes occasional use of strong language, which is not intended for children or other people who are easily offended. Do not submit complaints, we're not going to change it for you. If you are easily offended do not download this addon. Better yet, quit wow and go play Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

AdiBags

LibTasks-1.0

$

A library for tasks

Tasks can be various things, for example "kill Nalak this week" or "use your tradeskill cooldown today". The library does only store (not between sessions) tasks and propagate changes to interested listeners, it does not create tasks on its own nor does it display them.

Task sources

For creating a task you should see the AddOrUpdateTask method, you can also remove tasks using the RemoveTask method. When ever a task is changed you should call the AddOrUpdateTask method again.

Task displays

An example maybe explaines this best, you will need to add code for displaying the tasks somewhere in the callback methods. Example:

locallibTasks=LibStub:GetLibrary('LibTasks-1.0')functionaddon:OnEnable()libTasks.RegisterCallback(self,'LibTasks_NewTask')libTasks.RegisterCallback(self,'LibTasks_ChangedTask')libTasks.RegisterCallback(self,'LibTasks_RemovedTask')endfunctionaddon:OnDisable()libTasks:UnregisterAllCallbacks()endfunctionaddon:LibTasks_NewTask(event,taskData)-- do somethingendfunctionaddon:LibTask_ChangedTask(event,taskData)-- do somethingendfunctionaddon:LibTasks_RemovedTask(event,taskData)-- do somethingend

taskData table

The taskData table specification is still open for extension/changes.
