About SimpleUnitFrames

SimpleUnitFrames is an extension to the default WoW Unit Frames. Rather than a complete unitframe replacement, this addon adds further information and features to the existing frames and allows a greater degree of customization to enhance their usability.

The v2.x.x series of SimpleUnitFrames involved a complete re-write of the code, however credits go to Rophy and xan for their original work on the v1.x.x series.

All configuration for SimpleUnitFrames can be performed through the Interface Options panel which can be opened through the slash commands /simpleunitframes or /suf, or through ESC -> Interface -> AddOns Tab -> SimpleUnitFrames.

HP, Mana, Energy, Rage & Runic Power Display

The default unitframes only allow either [total]/[max] or [percent] values to be shown on HP and mana bars, however SimpleUnitFrames provides several default overlay options or a method to create your very own styles using LibDogTag-3.0 syntax (also available through the in-game /dog command).

Modules

SimpleUnitFrames comprises the following modules which enhance each frame:

  • Class Icon Display
  • Text Overlays
  • Custom Text Overlay Styles
  • Portrait Damage Display
  • Bar Textures

Supported Frames

SimpleUnitFrames supports the following frames, each with their own customizations available:

  • Player
  • Pet
  • Target
  • TargetOfTarget
  • Party
  • PartyPet
  • Focus
  • FocusTarget
  • Boss

Bugs & Development

While the best effort is made to ensure that release quality zips do not have any bugs, inevitably errors slip through. If you encounter a bug, please ensure that it has not already been fixed in a more recent beta/alpha release or reported already on the ticket tracker. If the bug persists even in the latest development build and has not been reported, please post a ticket on the Project Tickets Page

Please report bugs and suggest features via the Ticket page rather than using the comments section as it provides a single point of reference to track the development of the addon.

Development builds of SimpleUnitFrames can always be found on the Project Files Page.

  • [almost complete] calculating estimated time for each auction to end, based on previous searches
  • [work in progress] warning you when an auction reaches certain time left (either predicted or last checked time)
  • [work in progress] configuration UI

If you already downladed this addon, please let me know of any issues that you find, especially LUA errors.

Known Issues

  • When gaining a reputation level recipes for that faction will still appear in red when doing a scan.
  • Recipe acquire information is slightly inaccurate. We are updating recipes daily as information is identified. If you find something inaccurate or wrong, submit a ticket here and we will get it updated.

Feature Requests/Bug Reporting

Read the Bug Reporting and Feature Requesting information before submitted a bug report or feature request. Posting reports in the comments is not the place to do so. Ackis had to turn off the comments at Curse.com because of constant bug reports and feature requests. Comments are for questions on how to use the mod, or you can see the thread on WoW Ace. Please follow these small little instructions to make our lives easier. The easier you make development for Ackis Recipe List, the more time we will have to develop other addons.

Bug Reports

Please use the WoW Ace tracker to file bug reports. Posting bugs in the comments is not the place to do it.

Feature Request

Please use the WoW Ace tracker to add suggestions and feature requests. Not all suggestions will be accepted: there are many people who use this addon, each with separate views. We will, however, try to make it as user friendly as possible...but when a decision is made please accept it.

Integration

Ackis Recipe List strives to integrate with existing trade skill mods out there. If you have a request for integration, please submit a feature request at WoW Ace. We make no promises to implement the feature at all. There is a limited API documented to interface with the ARL database. If you are a developer and would like more functions, please contact us on IRC. Currently, the mod works with:

What is Grid?

Grid is a compact and highly configurable party/raid unit frame addon.

The compact grid of units lets you select a group member quickly, while keeping a good overview of the whole group. It shows as much information as possible without overloading you. It allows you to customize what information you see, and how you see it. It works in both party and raid groups, and supports pets and vehicles.

Want more features? The Grid core tries to include only features which are generally useful for all classes and roles, but makes it easy to add new features with a simple plugin API for developers. Over 75 plugins are already available!

How to use Grid

To open the options window, type “/grid”, right-click the tab on the Grid layout frame, or right-click the Grid icon on your minimap or DataBroker display.

Because Grid is so configurable, its extensive options can be confusing at first. We recommend taking a few minutes to look through all of the options before asking for help. There is a small in-game Help section in the options panel, and also a small User’s Guide that may be helpful in explaining some of the terms used in Grid, like status, indicator, and priority.

Need help?

Found a bug? Please check the FAQ and list of known issues first, and then let us know about the bug so we can fix it!

Problem with a plugin? Contact the plugin’s author for help. The Grid team cannot provide support for third-party plugins.

Have a suggestion? Feel free to tell us about your idea, but please make sure there isn’t already a plugin that adds the feature you’re looking for first!

Questions? Comments? Head over to our WowAce forum thread. Comments on Curse are closed, to help keep discussion all in one place.

Localization

Grid is compatible with English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Português, Русский, 한국어, 简体中文, and 繁體中文 game clients.

Forum thread

Known Issues

SavedInstances is pretty good, but it's still not quite perfect. There are currently a few issues:

  • Oondasta: Blizzard's loot-tracking pseudo-quest flag for Oondasta is currently not being set upon a kill. To make matters worse, killing Nalak is incorrectly setting the Oondasta flag (in addition to Nalak's flag). This is a Blizzard bug. SavedInstances just displays the available information, so it won't show up until their bug is fixed. Please help complain on the Blizzard forums to get this bug fixed.
  • lockout time remaining and other features may be off by an hour when your region changes to and from Daylight Savings Time, or if you manually adjust the timezone of your computer.
  • if the addon's information is incorrect, you can force it to refresh by opening Blizzard's Raid Information window
  • when first installed, SavedInstances has no idea what your other characters are saved to: you'll need to log into them too for their information to be recorded
  • Tracking for the 5 instance per hour limit uses heuristic detection and hence may occasionally be inaccurate (notably when another player has lead and performs explicit resets), but does a reasonable job for common cases.
  • might not be compatible with DockingStation's tooltip scaling feature

LibDataBroker versus FuBar

SavedInstances will create a new button on the minimap, and you can use it to interact with SavedInstances just fine. This addon can also be displayed using a LibDataBroker-compatible display addon. I personally use Chocolate Bar which works quite well.

Official FuBar support was terminated a while ago for a variety of reasons. If you still use FuBar, you may get SavedInstances to work with it using Broker2Fubar.

oUF_Adirelle

$
0
0

oUF_Adirelle provides both raid and single unit frames built on top of oUF.

This addon has been originally written for personal use and taste. It borrows ideas from existing raid and unit frame addons.

It has been tested and includes specific settings for the following classes: hunter, druid, paladin, warlock, priest, shaman, death knight. It should work fine with other classes as well.

I do not plan to add configuration options. Nevertheless, one can move, resize and even disable the frames using the “/oufa” chat command.

Single unit frames and party/raid unit frame sets could be disabled by disabling corresponding addons.

Though oUF_Adirelle embeds and uses some libraries, they are all optional and could be safely removed (just delete the “libs” directory). Please note the “/oufa” command yet requires LibMovable-1.0 to work.

Features

Features common to both group and single unit frames

  • colored border:
    • white: current target,
    • blue: low mana,
  • glowing border based on threat status, using built-in Blizzard colors,
  • display raid target icons,
  • shows raid/party roles, either assigned by LFD tool or rolecheck,
  • displays important debuff for some PvE encounters (Ulduar, Coliseum and Ice Crown Citadel),
  • fades out of range targets, using spell range checks (which is a bit more accurate than generic range checking),
  • display incoming heals,
  • display “alternate power bars” (like the sound bar during Atramedes encounter),
  • automatically update your role in raids, based on your current spec,
  • You can use the “/oufa_health” (or “/oufah”) chat command to set a health threshold, below which health bars are highlighted. Type “/oufa_health help” for detailled usage. _”/oufa_health 10k” might come handy for Chimaeron fight._

Group unit frames

  • health bar fills from right to left when unit loses life,
  • display important buffs (like tank cooldowns, feign death, iceblock, ...),
  • display curable debuffs in the center of the frame ; debuffs you can dispell are opaque, debuffs you cannot are half transparent.
  • displat important debuffs (boss debuff or PvP control abilities).
  • display small icons in corners for heal related auras.
  • ready check icon.
  • special status icon:
    • skull: dead unit,
    • lightning: disconnected unit,
    • whirlwind: out of view (either really far unit or unit in another instance).

More details about the cell layout are available there.

Single unit frames

  • frames for player, pet, target, target of target, focus,
  • class-colored health bar for players, happiness-color health bar for hunters’ pet,
  • display numerical health and power values,
  • display percentage health for elite/boss units,
  • show unit level and classification/class,
  • show elite/rare dragon decoration,
  • class specific features: runes, totems, eclipse energy, holy power, soul shards,
  • also shows druid mana in cat/bear form,
  • show PvP status,
  • smart aura display depending on unit reaction,
  • when in group, displays a small threat bar on target frame,
  • optional casting bars on target, focus and pet frames; controlled by the “show cast bars on targets” option in Blizzard combat panel.

Other frames

Boss and arena enemy frames are available in separate addons. They uses and requires oUF_Adirelle_Single.

Library related features

The following feature are available using libraries:

Known issues

  • Clique issue with unit menus: long story short, if you have installed Clique and you cannot open the unit menus by right-clicking them, just remove the “Open unit menu” binding from Clique.

Sick Of Clicking Dailies

$

Sick of Clicking Dailies is an addon designed to make picking up daily and weekly quests and turning them in easier and more streamlined when you quest in bulk. This addon simply skips through all the quest text when interacting with the NPC giving the quest. It also can automatically skip through gossip options and select a quest reward for the ones that have them, you can always leave it on none and the dialogue will stop there.

This addon now automatically detects daily quests. Repeatable quests that can be completed are also handled automatically. The options for specific quests have been moved to the NPCs themselves, you will need to hold down the shift key to prevent the auto-completion from going through and you will see the options there.

The main options window is opened via /socd. There you can choose rewards for quests that have rewards, enable previously disabled quests and disable previously enabled gossip options.

Wowace Forum Thread for discussion etc.

Bugs, Errors and Requests Go Here

Known Annoyances

  • Some NPCs have a repeatable quest, vendor or other dialogue option as well as a daily quest available, you will need to hold down the shift key in order to disable the addon for that particular click.

Random Features

  • Can now automatically select gossip options. Just enable the checkbox at the left side of the gossip option and it will be automatically selected the next time.
  • Includes 2nd LDB feed to keep track of daily quests done on all characters for a given realm.

ArcHUD3

$
0
0

ArcHUD displays smooth arcs around your character in the middle of the screen to inform you about the health and power (mana, rage, ...) of you, your pet, and your target. In addition, it shows casts, combo points, holy power, soul shards, and a couple of other things. It discreetly fades when you are out of combat and at full health/power.

This is a continuation of ArcHUD2 which managed to survive various patches... until the Cataclysm. Thanks to Nenie, the original author of ArcHUD2, for supporting me with this new version.

Please report any bugs or feature requests via the ticket system. The login is the same as your Curse login.

These arcs are currently supported:

  • Health and power (mana, rage, focus, energy, runic power) for player, pet, target, and focus target
  • Player's secondary power (Holy Power, Soul Shards, Chi etc.)
  • Casting/channelling progress for player, target, and focus target
  • Fatigue/breath (mirror timer)
  • Combo points (including unconsumed combo points on previous target, e.g. on dead corpses)
  • Custom (de)buff arcs: Ever wanted to keep track of the stacks and/or remaining times of some specific (de)buffs such as Evangelism, Savage Roar, Beacon of Light, Judgements of the Pure, Weakened Soul, etc? Then just create your own custom (de)buff arc for it!

In addition, some additional target information is displayed:

  • Current target (name, class, guild, 3D model)
  • Current (de)buffs on target
  • Target-of-target and target-of-target-of-target

Changes in v2.1/2.2:

  • added Shadow Orb ring
  • added option to change Death Knight rune order
  • bug fix: moving Death Knight rune ring now works properly
  • bug fix: graphical glitch with arc rendering minimized

Changes in v2.0 (MoP):

  • added Monk Chi ring
  • added Moonkin Eclipse ring
  • added Burning Embers and Demonic Fury to Warlock Soul Shards ring
  • added ring for Death Knight runes
  • added options to center/scale Blizzard's spell activation overlays on ArcHUD
  • added option to hide maximum health/power values
  • added option to swap health/power text display
  • added option to all arcs to allow attachment to inner (pet) anchor
  • added dynamic separators to certain rings (configurable)
  • added rendering of arbitrary arcs
  • added inverse fillings of rings
  • added "shine" to rings (currently DK runes only)
  • fixed an issue with changing pet anchors (ticket #51)
  • fixed an issue with unit frames created by ArcHUD and used by other addons (tickets #52/#38)

Small warning: Using this addon apparently bears a high risk of getting addicted to it, as these user comments suggest. I received those after taking over the development of ArcHUD when the Cataclysm happened:

  • "...nothing ever quite matched the smooth, clean simplicity of ArcHUD's graceful rings."
  • "Great job!! I've used this addon for years! None of the other HUDs come close to the functionality and elegance of ArcHUD."
  • "Thanks for the work on it so far, much more lightweight than IceHud!"
  • "Was staring at the various icehud/metahud alternatives with discomfort and sadness right after the patch [4.0]."
  • "Awesome! Thank you so much for that miracle!"
  • "Thank you so much for continuing this fantastic addon."
  • "...nothing could compare to ArcHUD..."
  • "For a whole 4years I had this mod and I missed it so much in the passed few weeks. I tried other HUD mods but they were too in my face >.< . Best HUD mod IMO! Thanks for resurrecting an old friend :D"
  • "Loving the new ArcHUD my favorite HUD by far :)"
  • "I don't think I could play wow without this addon :)"
  • "I've actually grown kind of dependent on it because I'll occasionally run out of Mana/ die without this."
  • "Hey mate, just came to thank You again for taking over this beauty, awesome job!"
  • "THAT addon! So long I have been searching for a replacement when the development stopped, thanks for bringing it back to live!"

So use it at your own risk ;)

AngryRaidPoints

$

This addon was written by the guild Angry (US-Illidan) to handle bidding out items in a DKP-like system. The addon itself is run by the master looter and anyone else (typically officers) who will be handling bids on items. Addon communications is tied to the guild line, so it's assumed all bid handlers are in the guild. The addon is intended to automate the actual bidding process, and doesn't get involved in other aspects of the guild's points system (players report their own points).

Bidding style used is:

  • Only the people belonging to the highest priority group can bid, group priority is: Member mainspec > Member offspec > Trial mainspec > Trial offspec (guild ranks for member and trials is configurable at the top of Core.lua). If all members of a higher priority group pass, then the next-highest priority group can begin bidding.
  • For mainspecs, the minimum bid is 10, for offspecs, the minimum bid is 1 (also configurable at top of Core.lua).
  • Bidding is one round, from whoever currently has the least points to whoever has the most.
  • Normally, all bids must be at least 1 point above the previous bid. However, bidders with less than the minimum can bid the minimum, but any bidder who has less than the minimum points can always be outbid by later bidder(s) if they also simply bid the minimum.
  • Bidders who have the same current points will have their bidding order determined randomly.

Interfacing with the addon happens through the "/arp" command:

  • /arp toggle - toggles the main GUI window of the addon (this is also bindable in the game's key bindings).
  • /arp channel, /arp bid, /arp lastcall, /arp reminder - these are the console equivalents of buttons inside the GUI (see below for info).
  • /arp remove - this allows you to remove a player from your bidding list, before bidding begins.
  • /arp reset - this resets the current bid you're handling, cancelling it and making yourself available for a new one (console command only, not in GUI).
  • /arp scale - this sets the UI scale of the ARP windows (/arp alone will show you your current scale).
  • /arp version - performs an ARP version check for everyone in the guild, displaying what version they're running.

Bid assigning: after a boss is killed, the master looter will open up the corpse (or chest), which will load in the items from that kill into the addon. Next, bring up the main window and loot assignment window (push the button to toggle it, if ML is on then you must be master looter). In the loot assignment window, you'll have the opportunity to assign each epic item present on the corpse to a particular bid handler (the bid handlers available will be detected via addon com, and limited to people in the raid). Items will be removed from the item list as they are assigned to a bid handler. Each person running the addon can be handling a bid for one item at a time. If a bid handler cancels his bid (via "/arp reset"), or reloads his UI, or anything along those lines, then you will need to use the "Reload" button below the item list in order to re-load all the items back in from the corpse (after hitting reload, the next time you have the corpse open, anything still present on it will be loaded back into the list). Any items remaining on the item list will be purged when you open the next new corpse/chest.

Bid handling: after a person running the addon is assigned to handle the bid for an item, the addon will instruct players to send a tell to the bid handler with their current raid points, and whether the item is mainspec ("ms") or offspec ("os"). You can also send a tell containing the word "remove" to remove yourself from the bidding list of an item you had previously added yourself to. The bid handler can push the "Last Call" button (or use "/arp lastcall") at any time to issue a "last call" warning and inform everyone of the current bidders list. Eventually, the bid handler will push the "Start Bid" button (or use "/arp bid") to begin the bidding process. As the addon will inform players, bids must be sent in tells to the bid handler, and then will be announced on the configured com channel, along with the next bidder(s), etc. A valid bid is either a number, +x (where x is the amount you want to increase the previous bid by), or "pass". The bid handler can use the "Reminder" button (or use "/arp reminder") to remind the next bidder to put in his bid. After the last bid is in, the winner will be announced and the item/winner/cost information will be added to the "Loot Log" section of the main window. Note: in the main window, or via "/arp channel", the bid handler can configure which com line he uses for his bid status messages (raid and guild are the two options).

After all items have been bid out, the master looter can then assign items to players based on the information in the Loot Log. The "Copy" button can be used to get a copy'able version of the log (which also only contains purchased items, not DE'ed items) so you can paste it into something outside WoW (such as a DKP system). Afterwards, the "Clear" button should be used to clear the accumulated Loot Log.

  • Russian (ruRU)
  • Simplified Chinese (zhCN)
